Naked man professes love, gets attacked

Ann Arbor - A man trying to show his girlfriend that taking risks is important got a little more than he bargained for.

Police in Ann Arbor, Michigan, say it all started when they were discussing marriage yesterday morning and the woman said she wasn't sure she was ready.

Her boyfriend tried to make his point about taking risks by jumping out the window and running naked through the neighborhood. But a couple strolled by and trouble started. A man ordered the naked suitor out of his hiding place in the bushes and started chasing him, then fired a shot.

The naked man fell to the ground and suffered minor injuries. No charges filed. The naked man said he didn't want to press any.

A detective says, "Just when you thought you had heard everything."

【アナーバー＠ミシガン州】　危険を冒すことが重要であることをガールフレンドに示そうとした男性は、ちょっと予想と違う結果を得ることになってしまった。

　ミシガン州アナーバー警察によると、男性は、前日の朝、ガールフレンドと結婚について話し合い、彼女がその準備ができているとは思えないと言った際に、全てが始まってしまったという。

　ボーイフレンドは窓から飛び出し、裸で近所を走ることで、リスクを冒すことについての自論を証明しようとした。しかし、とある二人組が近くにいたため、トラブルになってしまった。そのうちの一人の男性が、裸の彼に対し茂みに隠れずに出てくるように命じ、彼の追跡を開始し、とうとう発砲までしてしまった。

　裸の彼は、地面に伏し、軽い怪我を負った。なお、告訴は行われなかった。裸男は一切コメントしたくないと語った。

　ある刑事はこう話した。「全てを聞いたとは思っちゃいけないよ」。
